On October 9, 2010 residents of Laayoune, Morocco began setting up a protest site in the desert east of the city. The protests were for additional housing and job opportunities to accommodate the growing population. Pro-Polisario provocateurs soon infiltrated the demonstration site to "hijack" the protest. The protest had nothing to do with Polisario demands for independence. The images are extremely graphic and gruesome.

Fatalities After Western Sahara Soccer Game
Seven people, two of which were policeman, were killed after a soccer game in the city of Dakhla, Western Sahara on Sunday. Initial reports show that along with multiple stores being torched, at least 20 people were injured. The interior minister of Morocco ordered an investigation into the incident. Read More
